Notes

10/21/12 -- Used a different BO that looks really great with this border and is very stretchy. Basically a SSK so you k2, insert needle into the front of these two stitches and knit them together. Now you have one stitch on the right needle. From there it’s K1, SSK until all stitches are bound off.

I did this bind off with too large a needle at first (US 11) and it left a sort of ripple on the bottom so I took it out and re-worked the BO with US 8 (knitted the pattern with US 6). Turned out really good.

10/14/12 -- Knitting finished after two mishaps (dropped stitches that unraveled a bit) - now needs to be blocked and ends woven. I may have overdone the needle size on the bind off as it’s a bit ruffly … hope that will straighten out with the blocking. Lovely pattern.

Wasn’t too sure about this yarn at first but now I really like it -- it’s soft and easy to knit with, will make a great wrap to wear to the beach or out on a cool evening. Best of all it’s machine washable so easy to care for and it maintains a good shape even though I haven’t blocked it yet.

This is a fabulous pattern, I’m sure I’ll be making this again.

Probably won’t use all the yarn but didn’t think that 3 skeins would be enough. We’ll see.
