PROS / CONS / MODIFICATIONS

PROS:
Added a couple of photos because this scarf is really lovely and has become one of my favorites. I didn’t start out liking this yarn but it’s really comfortable and soft, and doesn’t pill nearly as much as I’d been told it does; it’s quite lovely. And the pattern is wonderful; who would have thought this ruffle-y looking thing would turn into this wavy, beautiful scarf? Will have to make another one of these.

CONS:
Yarn doesn’t frog well, the color layer gets stripped off when frogged. This particular lot was not dyed well, there’s a big white spot and subsequent big blue spot in the pattern but you can’t see it unless you’re looking.

MODIFICATIONS: None

Dimensions:

Before blocking - 15 x 56 (unstretched)
After blocking - 17 x 80 (blocked with wires - moderate stretching)

10/26/12 -- finally finished this, it was about 56 inches before blocking and took almost all of two skeins. It’s going to be a good sized scarf I think.

9/24/12 -- still in progress but past the halfway point … love this pattern, it’s so easy to knit.

8/15/12 -- Going to pull this baby out of hibernation and hopefully finish it.

8/4/11 -- This is a much better pattern for this particular yarn color.
