I was able to knit this sock because I watched Kelley’s Sock Class video (Knitpicks or Youtube) and I knitted along with her. It’s a good instruction series, really takes the mystery out of socks and it’s good to watch someone use the ‘magic loop’ technique.

I used her Eye of the Partridge stitch for the heel flap because I liked the look of it better than the standard rib.

Made the cuff longer and the leg shorter than the recipe called for … turned out just fine.
