Finished - very happy with the result.

This shawl has a modern form, and can be used as a scarf as well!
In addition to all this good things the pattern gives endless possibilities to combain different colors and qualities and amounts of yarn. I am sure it is not the last time I use it.

It was very interesting to try brioch stich in two colors, I am crazy with brioch right now. The pattern is written very well and clear. It helped a lot that Wrong side and Right side rows are labeled. Interesting finishing row.

The story is that my lovely aunt 86 y.o. would like to have a shawl in blu and grey colors, and I would like to try a new stich (brioch), a new pattern, and a new yarn. Then I’ve been in a local yarn shop in Copenhagen (Tante Grøn i Frederiksberg), and there could I spot a lovely shawl in brioch stich. The owner has written the name of the pattern to me without looking in her notes. When I complemented her memory, she said that she now had written it to customers so many times that she can easely remember it by head;) and the name of this pattern is not easy in my opininon;)

Mods: none
Changes: double thread for boarding, because I thought the single thread out of brioch stich looked too thin.
