Notes

Definitely a good idea to put stitch markers in every 10 stitches, counting in from the straight edge. It makes the charts much easier to read.

Mine didn’t need an edging. I was careful to bring the new yarn color under the old, consistently, and the top edge is quite tidy. The bottom edge stays neat without any difficulty. The only issue was that the ends curled. But a little bit of steam applied just on the ends solved that.

The illusion is devilishly difficult to photograph. And viewing it to best advantage requires a bit of moving around to see Harry’s face super clearly. But my my, what fun. I think my daughter-in-law will enjoy it.
