4/25/15--finished the chart and I am now working on the border.

Drat…I picked up too many stitches on the sides of the blanket. I’ve got a little ruffle going. This is for a little girl, but I did not plan a ruffle. I’m going to have to give some thought to whether I can tolerate this. The illusion was fun. The border was not fun.

I worked in the round and picked up two stitches in the stockinette and one on the garter ridge thinking that would be 3 for 4--too many. I marked the corners and increased one stitch before and after the marked stitch to miter the corners.
