A fried of mine saw me knitting fingerless mitts and said those would be useful for playing the organ… (churches here tend to be cold in winter.) So… off I went.

1st Saturday: cuff done.

2nd Saturday: going to meet my family meant getting a lot of knitting done. (Train, sitting around chatting,…) So I started the thumb part of the second mitt. It also means this project will go to hibernation, because diverse family members had urgent wishes for Christmas gifts… sigh

2013/12/08: Urgent projects mostly done, so back from hibernation. :D

3rd Saturday: ? must have forgotten to take picture?

4th Saturday: Need to bind off the second mitt and then knitting the thumb.

5th Saturday: with Christmas around no progress at all.

Finished and gifted. Fit perfectly, and the rather roomy gusset allows the necessary movements.
