I casted on using the suggested needles in the pattern
( 4.5 mm) .
I am using a beautiful classic dk by Yarnink that I had in my stash and I think it’s going to work very well.

This is such a relaxing and joyous knit. It is easy enough to be a knit night or tv knitting but it also keeps you interested because of the different sections.

The pattern in very clear and straightforward.

My colour choice criteria for this shawl was to pick a dark a light and a bright. My selection was a nice tonal colourway from “Yarnink” but I think that a lightly speckled would look great too.

I finished the shawl and I couldn’t be happier!
Definitely the way you block is important if you want to have the “pointy” edges.
Wingspan is 70 in and depth is 29 in.

Easy to follow, interesting and easy pattern. It took me a bit longer because I’m knitting several things at the same time, but it knits fast and it’s great for LYS knitnight or tv knitting.
