Notes

This is the original prototype design for Laine Magazine Issue 12.
I have originally designed 3 different versions of this type of the stitch pattern back in 2019.

The beauty hides in the yoke’s math, the number of stitches truly isn’t enough, it is all about the length of the yarn of that dropped stitch, which I have figured out for the pattern. Some yarns relax easier and some retain their springiness much better, the best way to find out is to swatch!

Didn’t want to take away from the yoke drama, so just added a tiny detail on the sleeve cuffs and it is all perfected by the I-cord bind off on the hem, sleeve cuffs and the neckline.

This version features regular body length. But being worked top down, you can definitely knit the length that suits your style and your needs most.
