Mystery worsted weight acrylic yarn - 1 ball in stash

Pattern:
11 double crochets in a magic ring
2nd row, increase to 22 by crocheting 2 stitches into each double
until 88 stitches = 8 rows of DC with increases

next round, half double crochet in back loop only to give it a “lip” at the bottom of the bag

Continue in HDC in the round (I knit 88, slip stitch end of row, then chain 2 (don’t count this as a stitch) and crochet 88. I prefer this over the spiral crochet method.

After 13 rounds, I crochet 22, chain 22 (skip 22 stitches) crochet 22, chain 22 (skip 22) = 88 (all in Half Double HDC)

The chains are for the handles, so then I half-double crochet the 88 and on last round I do the crab stitch (single crochet backwards) to give it a nice edge.
