First pair of DK socks for Son no. 2 (Corbin). I used the pattern by Kay Litton with the rounded toe from Nancy Wheele’rs Njord sock pattern.

I went vanilla as I thought my son wouldn’t care for a pattern sock and while he is thrilled with these, he has asked me to make him a pair of Njords

I used yarn I found at our local donation center (caked with tag in the middle of the cake) in this colorway along with the one I used for the husband’s Njord socks. The two cakes of yarn were in the bag at a cost of $4.99 = incredible find!
