This is my 2nd Grid Gambit using the Piopardo yarn with a solid. This time I’m using a Sport Weight MC and went down a needle size from recommended in the pattern.

As it’s a lighter more summery version, I think the yarn I chose to go with the Piopardo works well. Why Sporting? If you are Portuguese, it’s the only word that comes to mind when seeing the green and white colors together = Football team.
