Notes

Starting knitting these socks with the Left Over Sock Yarn from the Stonehenge Mitts during airport and airplane time on the way back home from the UK.

Simple vanilla pattern but with a 2 purl pattern on either side of the leg to give it some break from the round and round knitting and to cinch up the calf to fit hubby’s skinny ankles.

I had 2 balls of this yarn and plan was to use up ALL the yarn. Knit the mitts and enough left over for the socks, even tho I ran out towards the toe decrease. I knit socks in tandem so I knew I would be short by the time I got to the heel turn on the 2nd sock as my “wip at work project” - used knitpicks stroll from scraps basket to finish them.
