Notes

Shop had only one ball in this colorway and I love blue, so it had to come home with me.

As it’s a cotton blend, I took it with me on vacation to cast-on poolside if it was warm. It so happens that I was going to call this my Porto shawl as that’s where we went, but the place we stayed in had a few free range peacocks who would wander by my feet several times as I sat knitting - so the Porto Peacock shawl was the name.

The yarn is a thick/thin and hence the need to knit with a size 9 needle so it wouldn’t snag. One ball was perfect for this shawl and it was a perfect airplane knit. Start to finish, about 9 hours (it was a 7 hour plane ride home). Love how the cotton feels so light as a scarf.
