This is my first colorwork sweater and it worked up easily up to the end of colorwork. I blocked the yoke to make sure the floats were good and when I tried it on, it was way too frilly at the top.

I didn’t swatch and used one needle size larger than recommended since I thought my floats would be tight. Turns out I don’t need to go up a size and I need to swatch!

Take two - took garment back to rib collar, started colorwork again with correct needle based on swatch results, and got to end of colorwork only to find that I did the increase round after the collar twice!

Take three, tinked it again to the collar, got all the rows correct, began short rows, discovered I did last row of colorwork wrong!!!! ….almost tossed the thing out!

I couldn’t bring myself to tink it again, so I left the colorwork “design element” in, the short rows were perfect and the body portion was smooth sailing.

Miscalculated the amount of skeins in stash that were gray and put out a request here on Ravelry. Only got one response but it was enough to finish the body IF I took back the complete full sleeve I had already finished. So I did, and it is now a TEE.

…and going to stay that way since I’m so DONE with this project.
