Cast this on to use up this yarn purchased on our visit to Porto, Portugal and visiting this lovely yarn shop.

Back panel worked up fast and the yarn is wonderful to work with. In looking at the back panel when I started the front shoulder, I realized I messed up on the Seersucker pattern instructions and was going to leave as is, but then messed up the front (missed the join shoulders instruction) so there’s been a bit of frogging on this top. Yarn, however, has held up beautifully with all the frogging.

Finally on the right path with this top, including making the decision to reknit the back.

Plan had been to finish it to wear in Porto while on my birthday vacation and show it to the shop owner, but I was one sleeve and a half away from finish as I had to tink back the sleeve to make it shorter for my arm length. It came back with me to the states unfinished and when finally finished I had to take a photo with it pre-blocking - so it fits like a glove.

Wore it as my Rhinebeck and am absolutely in love with it, the yarn and what it means to me personally as a Portuguese knitter living in the USA.
