5/29/2010: I finally wove in the loose ends, and the project is complete. I’m very happy with it, overall. There are a couple of things I’d do different if I made it again:

1.) I accidentally used the wrong size needles for the cuff on one of the sleeves. Oops. It’s a bit looser on one side. Probably I’m the only one who would notice, but still annoying.

2.) I’d make it longer. I went halfway between the shortest length (17 in) and the longest length (24 in), and made the body 20 inches. It’s still on the short side - I’m really glad I didn’t stop at 17. If I were to do it again, I’d go for at least 22 inches, maybe 24.

3/14/2010: I’m finally working on the arms. Well, the first arm, anyway.

11/14/2009: Progress is slow. I have finally finished the back, and I’m working on the front. It took me about halfway through the back to memorize the pattern without having to check this or that. Hopefully the front will go a little faster.

8/9/2009: Perhaps 2/3 done with the back. Going is slower on this one than with Inishmaan, perhaps because of smaller needles and more stitches. Nevertheless, I’m loving the cable pattern.
