I used this pattern for the hat, and then the eyes from the Minion Hat pattern. I don’t crochet that well, and wasn’t sure about fit while knitting away from the kids. C1 requested that I tack down the eyes, so I tacked them down around the perimeter. He decided that his hat would have two eyes and his brother’s would have one :)
