General notes:
I love the ribbing, it was easy to mess up in the navy blue yarn, but that was my fault not the fault of the ribbing. :) The hot pink is hard to photograph and capture the accurate color, but it’s pretty hot pink. I added an inch to the sleeve length and an inch to the body length as I tend to make sweaters too short.

9/15/13 Started the sleeves. I started with the sleeves thinking it might be better to get those out of the way & it would also allow me to make sure my gauge swatch didn’t lie.

9/21/13 Sleeves finished!

9/22/13 Started the body of the sweater

9/29/13 Body finished, joined all the pieces

10/3/13 Finished short rows for the back, just a few more rows until I get to start the colorwork!

10/10/13 Just 9 more rows of colorwork! The colorwork has been fun now that I’ve gotten into the rhythm of it.

10/17/13 My ribbing gauge was way off. I ended up going down to a size 3 needle and 5 stitches smaller than the smallest neck stitch count to get the neck ribbing to look right. I measured the gauge (after having some difficulties) and realized that it was my gauge that was to blame, and not the pattern. So, if you find yourself having difficulties with the neck flipping up, gauge may be the issue.
