For the back I hand stitched in an invisible zipper so I can remove and wash the cover . My pillow covers a 14in form. In the end I left off the last couple of rows to make it fit the pillow right.

As far as my design goes- I followed the stitches in the pattern but in many places but I changed to back loop or front post stitches. Of course I use my own color changes too.
