Three days of pretty intense knitting! It is ALWAYS a delight to knit Dani Sunshine’s patterns. We have just arrived on the beautiful island of Belle Ile en Mer off the coast of Brittany. The manager of the hotel, where we are staying, kindly offered a summer job to Héloïse my eldest daughter and so I decided to make his eight-month old daughter, Valentine, a wee cardigan as a gift.

The buttons have tiny roses on them and the pink yarn from the ever wonderful Juno Fibre Arts Alice in pink (how sad I am that Loop in London no longer stock her yarn) is named Rosebud. Hence my choice of name for this sweet little girl’s knit.
