I like this nubby yarn for a garter stitch project. The slot created for the leaf to pass through is pretty nifty, but I can’t see any reason to do it twice. Instead I knit two & purled two together for the second narrow ribbed section. Also, I switched the order of the decreases as I’ve always done the SSK first & the K2tog second.

I knit the flower out of the Saucy yarn (tan) on size 5 needles. I think I attached the center incorrectly & I’m not impressed with it. Next I used some random Sparkly variegated yarn & the Knit Flower pattern to make the pink flower, but again, not impressed. I sewed button middles & pin backings on the flowers so wearer could choose either flower or none.
