Notes

I got the ribbing done, connected ITR, slipped it over my head & decided I wanted the open section to be looser. Started over, using size 9 needle, CO 124, broken rib & a slip stitch edge - first stitch S1 knit-wise, last stitch, P.

My starting width is 28”, so on each of my last 2 rows of knitting flat, I decreased 4 stitches, evenly spaced (116 left). I did the first ITR decreases at 2”, round 13.

Once again I got into the second skein of yarn & thought the circumference was too big. I ripped back & after the initial decrease, I decreased on every 6th round (about an inch). I did 7 decreases = 88 stitches left & 8” of SS.

My first finishing attempt, I did broken rib for 1.5”, but the 20” neckline was too big for me. I ripped back to the SS & did one round of 6 evenly spaced decreases before the top ribbing. I BO with a size 8 needle after a K1, P1 round & BO in pattern.
