After swearing I would not make another….I made another. I tried to make him look like a wire-haired by knitting in some hairy yarn. It was a real pain !!!

I would recommend making up the head first. I was tearing my hair out trying to get that part sewn satisfactorily and nearly gave up. It is not perfect but I put his head in a plastic bag while I completed the rest of the project so that it would not be too handled and that worked.

The legs are very difficult to get in the right place. This time I added some bonsai wire in the stuffing and that worked quite well.

I swear I will not make another !!!

The Alan Dart pattern is amazing as far as the shape of the dog is so lifelike !!
