Notes

Update 4/7: Finished & blocked! It was very bunchy pre-blocking and I wasn’t totally convinced that it would stretch out nicely, but the KP Swish blocked wonderfully! I’m so glad I picked this yarn.

Specs:

  • Roughly 57”x54”
  • Five rows of granny edging (purple, yellow, orange, blue, gold) and one of shell edging (green)
  • 14 squares x 14, 196 total

This is (imo) a perfect couch-sized afghan-- it isn’t huge and oversized or anything, which is how I normally like my throws, but I’m impatient and yarn is expensive! It’s very good for keeping warm while on the computer or while watching TV. And it looks awesome on the couch, which was pretty much the whole point. :)

Update 3/8: This went on hiatus over Christmas so that I could make lots of gifts, and I just picked it back up in February. Now I have about 25 squares left to do but I’ve had to wait for Knit Picks to restock Swish Worsted in Cornmeal so I can put in my yarn order to finish it. WAHHH! I just want to finish! I think it’s going to look awesome.

These are going to be used for a throw. I think I need about 196-- 14 squares x 14, plus edging.
