NaSweKniMo LET’S GOOOOOOO air horn

Obviously, since the pattern lacks short rows to raise the back, I will include 3 pairs of short rows after the wavy yoke is done. This should be enough, due to the gauge being quite big.
I will also include some bust darts, 2 or 3 pairs probably, dependining on how this will fit.
Other mods will include: No vents (???) just straight up normal tube of stockinette. Regular neckline, I don’t need a folded neck in a sweater i’m specifically making to be drapey and holey. Possibly 2 sets of increases to make it a little more Aline. Short sleeves, most likely.

This is going distressingly fast, I’m done with lace, and only have short rows to do before separating for sleeves.

Short rows done, splitting for sleeves soon.
Short rows I did, consisted of 4 pairs right after the final lace chart (A3). The first pair was at the very apex of sleeves, and the following ones were 12 stitches closer to mid-back each. All resolved on the first full round after completing 8th turn.
Am now knitting straight until I reach the right yoke depth.

Completed bust darts, in the same fashion as neck shaping short rows, except gap between shadow wraps was 3 stitches, and they started right at the underarm.

Sea of stockinette going very fast! About 15 cm in, and attaching another ball of yarn soon.

Completed the sleeves now, so I wouldn’t have to drag the whole setup about on my manul trip.
I did short sleeves, with 8 rounds after picking up underarm stitches, with 1 set of decreases on round 6, and then 7 rounds of ribbing on the smaller needles.
All that’s left is knit the body until long enough and then ribbing. I’m not doing any vents.

A week long trip delayed any knitting. I still have a week of November left, so I’m fairly confident I’ll manage.

Just 27 rounds left, so might be doable!

Yess! Finished just in time!
