Bulky yarn, bulky gauge, larger needles. I mathed! It’s gonna be great!

It’s going great, and I’ll be splitting for sleeves soon. I’m thinking of modifying the pockets, though. Not because I don’t like the ones in the pattern, I do, but I’m planning on making the cardi longer, so pockets openings on the sides won’t be very handy. I’m thinking about just picking up stitches at the bottom of the cardi and making the pockets bottom up, and sewing the sides in place. simple, but will work better for the length I have in mind.

After 6 months of stuff happening, I’m finally back to knitting this cardi. Should be done in a week or so, right on time for sweater weather.
