Friends Helping Friends Raffle

This raffle is for the benefit of our friend Justine, a local yarn shop/pottery studio owner in Basking Ridge, and her family. Justine’s husband is recovering from a serious accident. In an effort to support the family, a group of friends created this one-of-a-kind, free form knit and crochet shawl based on Prudence Mapstone’s Falling Leaves design (pattern available on Ravelry). The knitting/crochet community is showing its support…

• Prudence graciously permitted the use her pattern for this purpose
• LYS owners eagerly agreed to display the shawl in their shops on a rotating basis to increase awareness and collect proceeds All proceeds from the raffle of this wearable art will be given to Justine and her family. It is our sincere hope that you and your friends will participate to bring comfort to the family during a very difficult time.

Raffle Drawing: Saturday, April 16 at 3pm at Angelfire Studios

The shawl will be available for view and ticket purchase at the following LYSs over a eight week period according to the schedule below. Visit the shops and show your support.

Rules:

• Purchase tickets at participating LYS or ticket seller
• Do not need to be present to win.
• Winner will be notified by email &/or phone on Saturday, April 16 after 3pm
• Arrangements for pickup and delivery can be made by contacting Angelfire Studios and presenting the winning ticket, or winning email notification and proof of identity
• Winner’s first name and town will be posted at www.angelfirestudios.com
