Knitted from top to bottom. Started off with 8 stitches less than the pattern calles for the neck. Then increased to the stitch count as written in the pattern. For size Medium, i Knitted the first part of Diagram C beginning with stitch 1, and for the second part I started on stitch 10, for the pattern to be centered on the front. I continued the pattern as written (increasing where the pattern calls for decreasing) until it was time to divide the arms and the body. I put as many stitches as the arm was supposed to be (minus the number of stiches supposed to be cast off under the arm) on another needle, knitted the back part of the body, repeated the other arm, and knitted the front part of the body. The body is then knitted as the pattern says.

When starting the arms, I first knitted diagram B, then stockinette for approx. 9 cm, before decreasing as often as the pattern says, until the arm is approx. 40 cm from where it was divided from the body.

I casted off with italian cast off.
