I made the top from two strands of a lurex cotton blend (very thin, each smaller than size 10 thread), and the skirt from two strands of a blue variegated ribbon yarn (similar to Bernat Matrix yarn). Picture taking is NOT my thing. I will ask a dear friend to assist over the weekend with better pictures once it’s completed.
The top was of course, super quick and easy - finished in less than a week. The skirt was a bit challenging just because I wanted the fabric dense and full, even though I will still have to wear an undergarment to line it. Managing two ribbon yarns took more time also. One hour only got me just over an inch of fabric!!!
And the whole busted extension cord did not help. Note to anyone who wants to duplicate: use a lifeline or tubing to avoid accidents when trying on for fit.
