This is a fast project. I will definitely make it again. It actually seems very similar to the trellis tablecloth.

Best part: my mom loves it! I desperately needed to replace the fabric tablecloth on my mom’s breakfast table (bc I really hated it!).

Modifications: using extended dc instead of tr, 4-stitch blocks instead of 5-stitch blocks. Motif comes out to 16” instead of 19”! Also very important: am not joining motifs by sewing together but instead using ss into completed motif on final row.

Using extended dc, each motif takes about 275 yards. Using the regular US dc would take much less. Using a larger hook would also make larger motifs; however, I thought this filet pattern would show better if tighter hence the smaller hook.
