It’s not quite the same as the blanket; I omitted a few stitches from the ripple pattern and the turtles are just a single crochet ring or half ring with chains for legs and a few single crochet stitches for heads.

To get the full wave pattern I ended up wider than I wanted it to be so for the back I made a thinner panel (Tunisian crochet, full stitch), wrapped the front panel around the back partway and single crocheted it to the panel.
