No time to knit lately, been caring for my very ill mom since end of January. Her journey ended 20 days ago. Her granddaughter, my daughter Kate, spent days and days with her grandma - taking many days off of work, sitting by her grandmother’s side, heartbroken but ever-cheerful, and keeping me company too. One day she mentioned that the conference room at her office is cold and uncomfortable. The pull of knitting for this wonderful young woman in need of some warmth, in more ways than one, was too much for me and I managed to get this cowl made for her.
