Made the collar less deep than the pattern dictated. Felt the fear and put in a bright blue zipper anyway. When I arrived, Isaac was wearing a perfectly matching blue shirt! Washed this cardigan in the washer and dried to fully dry in the dryer. The yarn didn’t shrink at all - it came out looking great. I now sincerely wish this yarn wasn’t discontinued. I also wish I’d done a better job of knitting this - learned some things and for that I’m grateful. A knit for a growing boy won’t be worn long anyway - right?
