I love the textured pattern of this hat. But after spending many hours knitting its many stitches on size 0 needles, I wasn’t happy as I began the set up row to prepare for decreasing the crown, and found the instructions calling for switching to knitting every stitch instead of maintaining the 3x1 rib pattern.
So, on the set up round, I shifted the beginning of the round by only one stitch to the left, and began the crown using Veronik Avery’s crown decrease method from her 3x1 rib Montreal Tuque pattern (which I also love). Now I’m happy!
