01-05-2023: Straight out of the washing machine AND normal dry it came through beautifully, but use a color catcher sheet the first time washing, my white washcloth has a pink spot now! Top photo is after machine wash and machine dry. It shrunk to 41” square - perfect size for a baby. It’s so much softer after wash & dry and looks even better to my eye. So no worries with care. It will just keep getting softer.
01-04-2023: Finished. Will machine wash and dry tomorrow.
12-23-2022: Decided to add a little additional whimsy with a 2-color round of the center flower colors before starting the leaf round.
12-18-2022: first time using the diagonal joining method - it’s gorgeous!
12-16-2022: 49 squares finished, washed and blocked @ 5.5” square.
11-21-2022: Will make a square instead of rectangle - 7x 7 squares instead of 6 x 8 squares. Working round 1 for all squares, then round 2 for all squares, etc. production-style. Using invisible join on most rounds and immediately running in ends on each round before advancing to next row
