3 baby girls to choose from; belonging to my niece (due mid-August), my nephew’s new baby (Eliza born Nov 2014) and my cousin’s long-awaited adoption (14 mo. old from China arriving this summer).

Pattern is written in UK crochet stitch terminology, so I re-wrote in American terms to avoid constant brain damage ;-)

I didn’t like the look of my granny square using the G hook called for in the pattern. So I’m using a 2.75 mm “C” hook, making my square 4-3/4” instead of 5-3/4”. Hoping to have enough yarn to increase the number of squares in the blanket to 5x6 instead of 4x5.

The Bamboo Pop is great - soft, and doesn’t seem like it will pill at all.
