Technique was designed by Ferosa Harold and was published in the September 2003 Crochet! Magazine under the title “Shaded doilies in sewing thread”. It is worked with three strands of sewing thread, in 5 shades, shading the doily as you go. The technique can be used in a variety of colors or in shades of one color.
