I put the pattern stitches daughter Sarah chose from my Barbara Walker treasury into a pleasing order, using a few plain stitches and 4-stitch cables in between. Knitted a rectangle, sewed up the sides and whip-stitched onto handles. I lined with pink print cotton fabric, and put in a magnetic snap. I then wove in the chocolate satin ribbon, tacking it here and there with invisible thread. I made two of these. Wedding is over, bridesmaids loved their bags, Sarah is waiting for me to make her one of these in brown with pink bow!
