Making progress on my “Shadow Magic” lumbar-shaped pillow covers. Mitered squares are so cute, but one must have the fortitude for running in ends and lots of seaming to tackle a project using these squares. Each square has ten ends to run in, then garter stitch mattress stitch for seaming. Master Knitter Arenda Holladay of Cast-On Magazine and The Knitters Guild Association “TKGA” fame has a great video on YouTube that teaches garter stitch horizontal edge to garter stitch vertical edge mattress stitch. Working on reverse sides of pillows now. The blue strped mitered squares have mini-squares of color matching the colors and location on the front shadow magic side. Having fun!
