8-1-2013 update: I managed to find a skein of this same yarn online. I had finished this hat and scarf in January of 2012. Never wore the hat because it was too short for my head. Today I finally sat down with the single skein and picked up 68 stitches to add a 13 row 2x2 rib. Now I’ll be able to wear this hat and scarf set come winter.
1-7-2012: Cute, quick spiral hat in super bulky yarn. Used jumbo pom-pom maker. Scarf from the same book has 12 2” pom-poms.
