Oh, and I absolutely love this yarn. The braid is a 4 strand lanyard. I cut 2 blue and 2 green 40” strands, pulled them (alternating colors) through the 4 center half-double crochets on the earflap so that they were in-half. Held the halves together to use as the 4 strands.
