Working on the outer layer of worsted weight wool & alpaca blend really warm winter walking mittens for husband Bob. I knit the white lining first, then turned it inside out so the right side of the white lining will face the hand. Then picked up from provisional cast on stitches at the bottom and now I’m knitting second mitten around it. Pretty cool pattern.. It’s so zen for me. I’m following the short-row contouring version. This results in back of the mitten being a bit longer and also a bit wider across the knuckles than the palm side. Will report after finishing this first mitten as to whether hubby likes this feature. Stay tuned! ~ he likes it!!
