Project Log
20100720- ordered pattern. finally
20100819- made working copy of pattern.
20100827- doing maths, deciding needles, casting on? starting with 5.5mm and a prayer. first go found i misread where a set of increases went and needed to RIBBIT! i was consoled by the fact i’m knitting EZ on my deck on a beautiful friday afternoon. ok, this helped increase placement to click and I also dropped to 5mm needle. all i want to do is knit this all day!
20100912- turning turning. will i make it by the 18th? probably not, but it would be nice and i’ll go down trying!
20100914- bought 2 more bags. three skeins gone…
20100922- on hold after 6.5 skeins because I think I have to frog. totally ignored tension:stitch count. SIGH
20100927- measured mom. measured gauge. must frog.
20101002, 9pm- restart with 4.5mm & going regular ribwarmer as per page one. with blocking it should be long enough. (what, why should i block my swatch now? that takes all the fun out of it)
20101003, 9pm- zoom zoom zoom. not 100% will be long enough but oh might that be side #2? ;)
20101017- finished on way home from rhinebeck but need to graft & sew in one tail.
20101021- grafted!
20101024- done, photos are me so it’s big. Will photo on mum when I give it to her, and add those pics.
