using the custom chart, I cast 86 stitches on using the invisible double knitting cast on and then just knit plain for 6 rounds. begin pattern chart (2 repeats of chart = 1 rounds)
afterwards, knit 2 more rounds flat and then begin hat decreases:
I did the following (skipped one decrease in the first ronud because my stitch number != divisible by four)
k16, k2tog-L, k2, k2tog
knit one plain,k14, k2tog-L, k2, k2tog* etc.. until k4… repeat, then without flat rows in between.

note that for decreases in double knitting, you have to slip the stitches in the right position and don’t forget to p2tog on the backside
