Did a provisional cast on then went back and bound off with a crochet hook with a slip stitch between every bound off stitch.

Didn’t have enough yarn to do that on the true bind off, but I had already ripped back and reknit 4 times, so I instead slipped 1 stitch every other bound off stitch.

The ‘cast on’ edge has a bit of a ruffle and the bind off lays nice and flat. Had about 4” of yarn to spare.

Next time I might cast on even more stitches. With the width of the cowl, it’s still a little chokey on me. But this one is for my sister, so it’s ok.
