This is one of my favorite things ever.

These yarns look absolutely amazing together; both have a nice combination of warm and cool tones. And they did fine even though they’re not identical in size (the Caper Sock feels like a “big fingering” to me). Now I have to find a pattern to make a “neck thing” using the same yarns … and exactly what I have left from each of the skeins. I have a terrible habit of buying 1 skein of any yarn I love and then spending a ridiculous amount of energy trying to make things that use up every inch of it.

I totally recommend this pattern! It’s one of those things where people compliment your hat and then they’re like “you KNIT THAT?!?!!”

And I really didn’t finish it yesterday … I just finished taking pictures of it yesterday. I’ve been wearing it for 1-1/2 winters now. So I’m not 100% sure that that’s the right needle size. I’m sure I sized up because (1) I have a huge head (2) I like my hats loose, and (3) the yarns were heavier than recommended in the pattern.
