I am knitting this shawl as part of the TdF/sweater-shawl KAL on the Spunky Eclectic forum. The yarn is handspun from SE Island Dreams on Wensleydale, which I spun during TdF 2016.

For the shawl, I am holding two strands together, or more accurately, I loosely plied the 2 2-ply skeins together and am knitting the shawl from two strands held and loosely plied together.

I knitted until I ran out of yarn. I didn’t have enough yarn to knit the ribbed border, so I just did a few rows of garter stitch.
