I knit these socks toe up using the stitch pattern from Hermione’s Everyday Socks and Magic Loop

I started with Judy’s Magic Cast On--20 stitches, increased to 64 a la Chrissy Gardiner’s round toe, then started working the broken rib pattern from Hermione’s Everyday Socks on the instep.

When the foot was 8 inches long, I worked a FLK heel on half the stitches (32) and when I started working in the round again, I worked another inch on the heel stitches in stst before working the pattern stitches all around the leg.

I worked the leg in pattern and ended with 12 rounds of 2 x 2 ribbing before binding off using EZ’s sewn bind off.
