This was a dickens of a thing to knit. The body was an easy lace stitch, but I wanted to practice a rather elaborate border (to learn, w/ future projects in mind), but there was a mistake in the chart. When the body seemed a reasonable size, I knit almost half the border, and was surprised at how much size it added! Not wanting the shawl that big, I ripped back which took 4 hours. The second time knitting the border was much easier for some reason, but I could find absolutely nothing to help me w/ the point at the bottom that I wanted. Trial and error!
